Gunjan Aylawadi’s 3D Paper Sculptures #ArtTuesday

My latest works are more 3D and sculptural. I hand cut thousands of strips of paper and curl them around a thin wire to make paper strings.

I glue these strings on top of each other to create these pieces. Inspired by Japanese Zen Gardens, I call them Blissful Mountain and Blossom.
