Deba168 aka Open Green Energy over at Instructables has a fun project built around the 555 timer for designing a DIY door bell – the buzzer sounds great, and glancing at the breadboard layout I’d be inclined to tinker with other electrolytic capacitors to adjust the pitch and tone of the circuit. But the real thesis of the project is to learn how to use Autodesk Circuits to convert a simple breadboard build into a custom – but simple and straightforward – PCB. This is a really easy project for beginners and it’s always great to see the 555 being used to learn electronics!
Recently, I came across the Autodesk Circuits online tutorial for making the breadboard circuit, simulation and PCB design.I went through few of the Youtube tutorials and found it is really simple. After spending few hours, I managed to make my PCB.
To test my learning, I started to make a simple Door Bell project based on the 555 timer .First I made the project on breadboard and then make the final PCB.
In this tutorial, I will share my journey of making the PCB from Breadboard Prototype.
