Phobos Cosplay made her Anastasia ensemble from scratch, and it’s a spot-on replica of the animated character’s yellow dress. Part of making an Anastasia is making the crown, and Phobos documented her process and turned her photos into a tutorial. She started with a cardboard pattern before transferring it to craft foam and sandwiching the foam between two pieces of Black Worbla. She says:
“Now put the foam between two pieces of black worbla. The smooth side of worbla should be against the foam. Heats this sandwich of worbla with a heat gun (or a hair dryer), press the two pieces together and cut the excess of worbla along the edges. Be careful, the crown must stay smooth and pretty on both sides!”
