Hip Hop Garden Uses Music to Assist Young People Connect Food, Health and Community #MusicMonday

From MayProject.org via treehugger:

Hip Hop Garden is an innovative, alternative education model using hip hop to educate and empower young people to live sustainably and grow their communities.

Workshops

Our Hip Hop Garden model can be tailored to many subjects, and we regularly work with schools, youth groups and adults to use hip hop culture as a tool to increase social cohesion and raise awareness of social issues. Examples include ‘Hip Hop and Identity’, ‘Hip Hop and Climate Change’ and our popular ‘Hip Hop Garden Taster’. Find out more here.
