Slideshow Celebrating the ‘Women of @Fermilab’ | #WHM17 #WomensHistoryMonth #WomenInSTEM

Stumbled upon this really nice slideshow of the women of Fermilab, published earlier this month in celebration of International Women’s Day. I like people shots that show them in their everyday context, be it in their cubicle operating gantt chart-like software or in the lab experimenting with silicon wafers or at a terminal accessing some remote server.

In recognition of International Women’s Day, March 8, we present a photo gallery of women at Fermilab: technicians, admins, scientists, educators, engineers and many other professionals whose work helps drive discovery. Thank you, women of Fermilab, for pushing us toward the frontiers of fundamental science.

The women of Fermilab are involved in all operations of the facility, from the Neutrino, Accelerator, and Particle Physics divisions to Human Resources and ESHQ (Environment, Safety, Health & Quality) – it’s theoretical, and administrative. Here are a few of my favorite shots:
