A Witchy Take on Diablo III’s Maghda

Once you make a quality costume, there’s no reason to put it away in a closet after you’ve worn it once. Costumes can be worn again and again with care. Case in point: Laura Jansen’s, a.k.a. Lightning Cosplay, Diablo III Maghda costume. She made her Maghda costume a couple years ago, and it’s still looking great. The character’s a witch in the video game and wears an elaborate headpiece.

Lightning Cosplay made a form for the horns from expanding foam and KobraCast and sewed the fabric covers to fit over them. For the finishing touches, she sewed on a ton of baby pearls by hand and made 140 triangle spikes from Worbla and painted them with a metallic finish before attaching them. You can see the progress in the below photos.
