Sharon makes costumes for her six year old daughter Sam that you’ve probably seen around the internet — especially BB-SK8. She crafted the derby style Star Wars BB-8 costume in 2016 but decided to update the costume for Star Wars Celebration Orlando and this year’s C2E2. Sharon wanted to focus on fun and and adding special touches. She reached out to me to share that she was determined to dive into how-to videos here at Adafruit to learn how to add LEDs for lighting effects. As you can see from the above photo, she was successful!
