New York Times presents “25 Women Making the Best Rock Music Today”

Adafruit are really into this excellent new multimedia article from The New York Times about the women who are making the best rock music in the world right now. It’s a really fun and innovative way to celebrate and showcase these excellent artists.

The immersive and gorgeously produced piece includes music and interview clips with Vagabon, Sheer Mag, Soccer Mommy, Allison Crutchfield, Hop Along and more, plus an excellent fifty track playlist that features the likes of Jay Som, Mitski, gobbinjr, Girlpool and many others. There’s so much great music in here to prove that “Rock’s Not Dead, It’s Ruled By Women.”

Plus, while we’re on the subject, we thought it might also be fun to include ten of our friends and favourites who we think are making some really stunning guitar music. Take a listen below.

Camp Cope

Beverly Tender

Vassals

Betsy Ross

Magana

Crying

SuperKnova

Skinny Girl Diet
