I was reminded of the Lightmobile by Eric Staller after talking with someone recently about art cars – as you can see in the image above and from shots in the footage below, Lightmobile has been touring the planet for some many years now.

The LIGHTMOBILE was the first in the urban UFOs series.
A Volkswagen beetle covered with 1659 lamps that are computerized into 20 different patterns of light flowing over the car. I have shared it with hundreds of thousands of people on the streets of New York, Chicago, Boston, Montreal, Amsterdam, Basel, Berlin, Brussels and Nagoya.
