Purrfect for those who want a cat but can’t.
Japanese artist Wakuneco makes three-dimensional, felted felines that you’d easily mistake for the real thing.Using portraits of actual cats as reference, Wakuneco pokes layers of wool with a barbed needle until the materials resemble body parts such as the ears, the nose, and the mouth. Other details – like the whiskers, the eyes, and the fur – are then added to make the lifelike sculpture.
