In addition to the enticing visual elements in artist Koji Kasatani’s new work, the pieces have me singing ‘Bananas, as ceramics’ to the tune of ‘Bananas, in pajamas,’ which is…something! Via designboom.
kasatani re-creates everything from rusted iron pipes, garbage, worn-out shoes, used books, and cardboard boxes. his most iconic pieces however are his banana-inspired sculptures, a series of busts and other compositions made up of ‘bananas’ in various states.
