Here’s a fun project that I wish was around when I was stuffing diagonally cut sandwiches and ziplock bags filled with cut up cubed of cheddar cheese for high school. A Raspberry Pi Lunchbox Laptop rom Jordan Brandes via hackster.io
I’ve had my Raspberry Pi 3 B+ for about a year and couldn’t find a good project for it until I stumbled on to a Pi Lunchbox Laptop idea on Instructables. I liked the basic concept but knew I could improve on it. I decided to place the Pi behind the screen and mount it that way which gave me a lot more room inside to put the battery.
The 10, 000 mAh bank provides a ton of portable power and, as of this writing, lets the user work on the computer for upwards of five hours without a problem. The stylus comes in a lot of handy and it really does look great. My only complaint is the the screen is a touch too small to really do real work but there’s a lot you can still do with it. Next time I will change out the screen with a 5 in. one to make it easier for the user.
