We’re living on a tiny, slightly warm rock flying around a star as it hurtles through the vastness of the galaxy. It’s only natural to wonder what’s out there, beyond the confines of our atmosphere, in the cold expanse of space. However, we’re makers. We don’t have to just wonder – we can build things that go and take a look.
This month, we’re looking at how hackers and makers can explore space – whether that’s putting electronics in orbit, or listening in to the sounds of space with a network of satellite ground stations.
Of course, it’s not all orbital mechanics. We also take a look at the repair café movement which is helping protect this planet, rather than leave it, and investigate the best robots around. Whatever world you’re interested in, read on for the best hacking and making around.
