I have many fond memories of Shel Silversteins’s writings, so I wanted to try to make the cover art in 3D.

The largest part of this model is hollow to keep it lightweight. There is a hole in the back to hang it from a nail.

You will need supports for the kids and the dog. NO supports are needed for the base.

I used Florence Tech Translucent Blue for the top, Gold for the base, and a vase mode Mattehacker white for the diffuser.

It looks especially cool when set to a slow colour fade 🙂
