It’s always good to mix things up, try a new technique or skill. In this Nerdforge video, Martina decides to bring some color and drama to their new work studio by painting a large mural on the wall.
Always looking to expand her skill set, she decides to try painting graffiti style with rattle can paints. It’s fascinating to watch her struggle with the new technique, and in the end, she ends up mixing spray paint with the conventional brush painting and masking tape that she’s familiar with.

I was thinking to myself one day about how to expand my design boundaries and get out of my confort zone. Eventually, I thought of painting styles and painters personalities and how each of them would have a unique logo, brand or product.
So I got to working on this fun side project, I Hope you enjoy!

As reference I used his sketches, notebooks and studies. Even though he’s known for his brilliant use of perspective and depth in backgrounds and amazingly expressive portraits, I figured that his inventor side would reflect more his personality.
Raspberry Pi Spy shares their opinion of the CrowPi L. Functioning as a portable laptop, the CrowPi runs on a Pi4 and has GPIO access. Seems cool.
CrowPi L is a Raspberry Pi 4 based laptop created by Elecrow. It is a slightly different variation of the CrowPi 2 which was released in the summer or 2020. The idea is that the device is as portable as a laptop but with the ability to interface with the Pi’s various connectors and GPIO header.

It’s true that Boston Dynamics robots can do parkour, dance, run, leap, and fight. It’s also true that designing a robot that can perform these feats autonomously is extremely difficult. Here’s a project for making a self-balancing mobile robot from aadhuniklabs via hackster.io:
Self-balancing mobile robots (SBMRs) are unique among others, just because of their ability to balance on a given fixed position. A typical SBMR measures inclination angle with the combination of accelerometer and gyroscope measurements and corrects itself by moving forward or backward to make the angle zero. Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) controller is used for deciding how much movement is required and at what rate to quickly correct the angle drift and stabilize the robot. Things become challenging when such a robot is to be navigated (moved or rotated) manually from remote location.
This project demonstrates how to build a basic WiFi remote controlled 2 wheeled SBMR that has an on-board WiFi camera mounted on a servos powered pan & tilt assembly. It is manually controlled by the user from host PC through WiFi. Because of the live video feed available from the on-board camera, the SBMR need not be inline of sight from the user.

The following post will show how we can use the Raspberry Pi as an object counter by using the Infrared (IR) sensor. It provides real-time counting of objects that were detected by the IR sensor.
The app is built using Flask and Flask-SocketIO for real-time bidirectional communication.
