Composer Anna Meredith shared the addictively watchable music video for Paramour, from her upcoming album, FIBS.
Paramour mixes classical elements, especially Philip Glass style arpeggios, with pop synths and guitars, and the one-shot music video makes use of model trains and LEGO blocks in continuously inventive ways.

Hi, today I’ll explain how to make your own little Weather based Music generator.
It’s based on an ESP8266, kind of like an Arduino, and it responds to temperature, rain and light intensity.
Don’t expect it to make entire songs or chord progressions. It’s more like Generative Music people sometimes make with Modular Synthesizers. But it’s a little less random then that, it does stick to certain Scales for instance.
It’s oddly moving to imagine that small aluminum memorial all alone on the moon.

Across the many missions to the Moon over the years, countless bits of flotsam and jetsam have been deposited on the lunar surface. From Soviet sensors to a couple of golf balls, there are roughly 800 manmade objects up there. There is, however, one of them that’s different than the others. In 1971, the crew of Apollo 15 left a piece of aluminum, 3.3 inches long, on the lunar surface. It is called Fallen Astronaut, and it is the first (and only) art installation on our closest neighbor. (The Moon Museum, a ceramic wafer etched with drawings by Andy Warhol, Robert Rauschenberg, and others may or not have been snuck aboard Apollo 12.)
You may have noticed that starting in 2018, a lot of Adafruit development boards have connectors that look like this:
We call these STEMMA connectors - technically they are called 3 and 4 pin JST PH connectors. They're our way of making it easy to plug-n-play various sensors and devices without a lot of wiring. Especially with the board isn't breadboard-friendly, as above.
The idea is that by having easy-to-plug cables, you can wire up things without soldering, wiring and complexity. For example, here's a STEMMA soil sensor.
The sensor is well suited to using a cable connection - its an I2C sensor so needs 4 pins, and you will want to stick it into a plant, so it makes sense to have it on a cable!
