Superhero Forge is a team of costume and prop builders that strive to create movie quality results. When you’re working on large costumes with several pieces — especially pieces that need to move well and pieces that utilize electronics — it’s easy to see how having a team would help. Different members could oversee different aspects for screen accuracy. Regardless of how they work, Superhero Forge does an excellent job with making superhero costumes seen in films, and they recently crafted an impressive set of Hulkbuster armor from The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
The armor started as pieces of black EVA foam and was carefully painted and finished. It features LEDs and has a greater range of movement than I expected. You can watch the movement test on Facebook.
