JöLLY Spreads Holiday Cheer With a Shock to the Face #WearableWednesday

You better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout, the JöLLY tracker is why. The holiday season can be stressful. Betweeen deciding what to get loved ones to making your way through crowded malls, it doesn’t take much for happiness to get lost the hustle and bustle.

Last year, creative ad agency McKinney developed a wearable device of a different kind. The JöLLY Tracker is not a fitness tracker, it’s not a smartwatch, it’s not even a hat. It’s an embedded Santa Claus beard that monitors how much you smile. And should you frown, it’ll emit a friendly little reminder in the form of an electric shock to the face.

Hidden behind the white bear lies a set of adhesive sensors that send smile data to an app, an Arduino, a Muscle SpikerShield, a battery pack, and a TENS unit.
