Welcome to Lightpainting!
Lightpainting is fun with your camera on bulb mode in the night
The camera stands on a tripod, fixing to an object in the dark.
in the time the camera is open, you can use any light to move in the picture. Your body will not be visible because its dark and you are moving. So you can paint with light. With this tool you can create a colorfull lightsource for lightning rooms or objects.
There are three buttons for setting a RGB-basecolor. A Startbutton switches the light on or off.
With the brightness button you can set the brightness of your lightning or effects or (long pressed) you can switch, that the startbutton must be hold while lightning or acts like a On/Off button.
All settings are presented in a simple menü throught the leds. With the anmiation button you can choose several anjmations: Simple-Color, rainbow cycling (Solid or dynamic), fadeout your choosen color or stroboscop flashes.
Every Thursday is #3dthursday here at Adafruit! The DIY 3D printing community has passion and dedication for making solid objects from digital models. Recently, we have noticed electronics projects integrated with 3D printed enclosures, brackets, and sculptures, so each Thursday we celebrate and highlight these bold pioneers!
Have you considered building a 3D project around an Arduino or other microcontroller? How about printing a bracket to mount your Raspberry Pi to the back of your HD monitor? And don’t forget the countless LED projects that are possible when you are modeling your projects in 3D!
