Cowabunga: A WIP Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Costume

Redditor user fuzzydrawings has taken to the sewers (or, you know, a workshop) to make a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles costume. Fuzzydrawings is still at work on becoming a hero on the half-shell, but they shared an in-progress picture and the cosplay is looking excellent so far. It’s comprised of a couple different kinds of foam and spandex and latex. They explain the process so far:

Details on construction:
Body suit is made of muscles carved from upholstery foam, covered in spandex and sewn onto a body suit. Everything was then covered in a second body suit and thin layers of latex applied. (Body suit has yet to be painted).
Front and back shell are made from EVA foam. Front shell was airbrushed using a mixture of oil paint and rubber cement.
Gloves (not pictured) have been sculpted and will be cast in foam latex. I still need to sculpt the mask.
