Redditor dannylantern put together a rather spot-on Soldier: 76 costume. The Overwatch character wears a red, white, and blue jacket, which isn’t easy to find off the rack at store–not in the same way as solid color jackets–but you can find costumers selling them. Dannylantern’s technique was to get a cheap version and weather it. Instead of turning to acrylic paint applied with a dry brush (like he did for his armor), he used Sharpie:
The jacket wasn’t that hard honestly the best way to do it and the easiest and most effective for a cheaper price is to get a cheap jacket and then paint on the detailing yourself, I use Sharpies for the weathering and it worked out perfectly. They sell a lot of jackets online but they’re too clean-cut for Soldier.
