Beautiful thesis project from Silio Keiser on vimeo:
The device case was in part 3d printed and lathed out of chestnut wood. Inside the case there is a Adafruit Feather Huzzah esp8266 which is able to communicate troughWi-Fi to a smartphone. For the glowing effect ten LED’s are attached to theFeather. To power everything I used a 850mAh lipo battery. The code was written on the Arduino editor. For the LED’s I used the fastLED.h library and to control the LED’s trough the smartphone I used Blynk applications, as well as the Blynk library. The application was designed in Adobe Illustrator and withAdobe XD I created the prototype.
