I found that you can increase all the models by 4% and it fits perfectly on sch40 PVC piping from the hardware store. I also don’t have as large a print bed as Armatus has access to so I sliced some of the models so I could print them on my printer. I also included some reinforcement parts for each wing. I used a lot of superglue in addition to the screws to hold this all in place. Possibly the bottom handle could use a screw on the 2nd part. This was the only part that did not have a screw after I sliced them. The snug fit on the PVC in additions to a lot of superglue has held up to date though.

Every Thursday is #3dthursday here at Adafruit! The DIY 3D printing community has passion and dedication for making solid objects from digital models. Recently, we have noticed electronics projects integrated with 3D printed enclosures, brackets, and sculptures, so each Thursday we celebrate and highlight these bold pioneers!
Have you considered building a 3D project around an Arduino or other microcontroller? How about printing a bracket to mount your Raspberry Pi to the back of your HD monitor? And don’t forget the countless LED projects that are possible when you are modeling your projects in 3D!
