Zora Twilight Princess Cosplay

Zoras live in the rivers and seas, and in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, the Zora guards wear helmets. Cosplayer Lara Wegenaer Arts took that idea and ran with it for her Zora costume. She made a replica of the helmet from Worbla. It looks like she used scraps to create all the details. She drew them on with a marker first and then laid the Worbla over it. Then, for the most impressive part of the costume: she painted the Worbla to make it look like metal that has been underwater for ages. The final patina is lovely.

Lara used acrylic paints to achieve the weathered look (you can view a photo below). One of her pictures shows green, gray, and white — the white acrylic is CreaPaste, which looks to have a different texture than the other paints.
