Here’s a nice video on the MakerLodge initiative at MIT, that aims to train students on “introductory maker technology including 3D printers, laser cutters, bandsaws, drill presses, handtools and more.” Yes, students are to learn new tools and skills, but it all wouldn’t be possible without their fellow students, mentors, and other makers – in short, people!
The magic of making is told through the personal stories of MIT students, whose passion runs deep and from an early age.
