Redditor HarliQwynn is ready to crusade with their Diablo III costume. She wore the costume at Emerald City Comic Con and finally has photos to share that aren’t just cell phone quality. The lighting in this image shows off all the shading work and details. She explains how she used mixed media for the cosplay:
The armor itself is practically all worbla with a few smatterings of thick-ass cardboard; all the details are worbla plus some fancy painting skills. The shading is what really makes the transitions pop. Those horns tho – those are foam.
The shield is worbla backing with a mixture of eva and craft foam on the front. Worbla for the mace; standard plastic chain.
