This is a remix of the Hypercube pen holder to fit onto the CR-10 (although not as fancy as his updated version). This pen holder can be used for pens with a diameter between 8 and 11 mm.
NOTE: this pen holder can only be used if the fan mount has been removed (and for example replaced by an OEM Fang), so the two remaining holes can be used.
Furthermore, you will need:
- Two 10 mm M3 screws
- One >16mm M3 screw
- Two M3 hex nuts
- Three M3 washers (optional)
The images show how these should be assembled.
I’ve also updated the knob for a better grip. To use this pen holder, unplug the connector of the extruder stepper motor and set the bed and nozzle temperatures to 0°C.Edit
I’ve uploaded a second version which has some vertical movement. It is not optimal, as there might be some unwanted rotations or movements along other axes. Can be printed in the same orientation as attached on the printer. You can use the same knob.
