Lights Up! Step-by-Step Guide to Alexa-Controlled LED Strip @Raspberry_Pi #PiDay #RaspberryPi

Use your voice commands to control BigClown programmable LED strip (Neopixel compatible) by Amazon Alexa and Raspberry Pi.

You’ve maybe seen many times LED strip controlled by remote control. Cheap LED strips from Ebay, Aliexpress, etc… How cool it could be change colors just by voice? So much! Today you will learn how you can do it. I place my LED strip under bed and it looks just awesome. Have a look.

For this tutorial we will be using BigClown IoT kit, Node-RED for programming our project logic and Node-RED Alexa Home Skill Bridge project for communicating between Alexa and Node-RED.

BigClown is an open-source software and hardware IoT platform with welldone made documantion and sdk. Node-RED is Node.js flow based programming interface made for IoT need. It has huge community who making great plugin to extend the project.
