New Project! Mini Mac with HalloWing M0 #3DPrinting #CircuitPython

Mini Mac with HalloWing M0

In this project we’re building a mini retro Macintosh. This displays Mac OS boot screens and actually plays the startup chime. The capacitive touch pads cycling through images and sounds stored on device. Circuit Python makes it easy to display images on TFT displays. Use the Adafruit libraries and demo code to run python on hardware with the Mu Editor.

Easily update assets by drag and drop straight to the built-in flash drive. To build this project download and 3D print the design files. The HalloWing PCB snap fits onto the face plate without any screws. A mini speaker plugs into the audio port on the back. The face plate can also snap fit and lock onto the enclosure. Press fit the speaker into the back door and close it shut with the built-in latch.

You can power the HalloWing over USB or recharge a lipo battery to make it portable. All of the components are access through the bottom. Check out the learn guide to build this project, links are in the description. Thanks for watching and be sure to subscribe for more projects from Adafruit!
