Bill of Materials:

• 3mm LED (through-hole)

• 10mm length reed switch (through-hole)

• 470Ω ¼ watt carbon film resistor (the common ‘hobby sized’ through-hole)

• 12mm or 10mm battery retainer

• Coin cell battery to match retainer (10mm works well with a CR927 for example)

• Strong-ish magnet
