This is a custom built sand table, inspired by Bruce Shapiro’s Sisyphus table.

This is my first video with lights installed in the table.

Powered by:

• Raspberry Pi (G-Code sender, LED sequencer)
• GRBL (Arduino + Synthetos gShield) (Motor Control)
• Parts from Open Builds Part Store for XY-plotter hardware
• Adafruit Dotstar LED Strips for lighting

You can find Adafruit DotStar high refresh RGB LEDs here as individual parts, strips, and other shapes.
