Artist Thomas Duke (Instagram @steppingthroughfilm) takes incredible shots of film stills inserted into the actual locations!

Via Secret London:

If you’re a bit of a set-jetter, you’ll undoubtably be a fan Thomas Duke’s artwork, where he takes stills from his favourite films to their real life locations and snaps them with the perfect backdrop. He’s been to around 150 film locations since he started the photography project, and many of them are in London.

Duke’s attention to detail is incredible — he really nails the positions, the angles and the perspective in every photo.

“One equal temper of heroic hearts. Made weak by time and fate. To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.” ~ M, Judi Dench 🎬 • What do you think of this news? MGM announced today that ‘No Time To Die’ will be postponed and released in November due to Coronavirus concerns within the cinematic marketplace 🤒 Bond has met his most cunning face-off! With publicity and screenings aplenty on a global scale, I can see why it’s happened. Ultimately it seems like the wise decision! I wonder how the film will perform in the November slot – I was very excited to see it in a few weeks! Time to build up some more anticipation once again for the final outing of Mr Craig in his tailored suit but until then we’ll just have to wait 7 long months! • This is a shot from Skyfall where Craig runs heroically through Westminster in a bid to save M from the dastardly Javier Bardem. It’s my favourite scene from the whole film – the camerawork and score swell together so well for a truly wonderful sequence and of course it’s lovely watching Bond run through such an iconic area of London! This was a little hard… as you can imagine in the middle of a busy London road… but it was worth it! • • #jamesbond #007 #skyfall #notimetodie #danielcraig #judidench #sammendes #caryfukunaga #london #running #iconic #westminster #film #photography #explore #british #coronavirus
