AGUA, SOL Y SERENO from Santurce, Puerto Rico, is a dynamic and multigenerational 11-member theater collective recognized for its deep social and human commitment. Founded by Pedro Adorno and Cathy Vigo in 1993, the group is known for developing a dynamic brand of popular and experimental performance featuring colorful and iconic costumes, set pieces, and “cabezudos” or giant papier maché heads. For this virtual residency, a special screening of original production ANTULIO PARRILLA: COOPERATIVISTA EN GRACIA is matched with a behind-the-scenes tour of the company’s workshop and talk with company members! This artist residency will be conducted primarily in Spanish.
