Jack plug adapter anchor block – single, double and triple #3DThursday #3DPrinting

Jack plug adapter anchor block single double and triple by Mikesrailway Thingiverse

Need to mount an adapter or 3? Mikesrailway on Thingiverse has you covered:

When you buy a plug-in power supply / charger / transformer, it usually includes an adapter so you can directly connect a pair of cables. This is useful for hobbyists and for connecting up something that doesn’t have a jack plug input.

I designed this little gizmo to anchor the adapter. Someone might find it useful.

The cable adapter pushes in from the back and then clips downwards (tight fit). It can be fixed to a surface with screws, double sided tape or glue. It prints well. Any issues, please comment (politely) and I’ll attempt a bit of modification.

Every Thursday is #3dthursday here at Adafruit! The DIY 3D printing community has passion and dedication for making solid objects from digital models. Recently, we have noticed electronics projects integrated with 3D printed enclosures, brackets, and sculptures, so each Thursday we celebrate and highlight these bold pioneers!

Have you considered building a 3D project around an Arduino or other microcontroller? How about printing a bracket to mount your Raspberry Pi to the back of your HD monitor? And don’t forget the countless LED projects that are possible when you are modeling your projects in 3D!
