Pi camera #3DThursday #3DPrinting

Pi camera by peke Thingiverse

Shared by peke on Thingiverese:

Raspberry Pi zero W based camera housing.
I used a 40mm (internal measurement) PVC pipe from an old telescope.
The approximate length is 10-12 cm. This can also be printed, do not forget to add a hole for the wire!
Solidworks files are provided for modification.
Note that 2 front panels are provided for the conventional pi camera and the wide angle camera.
Ventilation can be improved by trimming the corners of the 30×30 fan and gluing it to the back plate. The ventilation will be more efficient at the price of the total length of the box.

Every Thursday is #3dthursday here at Adafruit! The DIY 3D printing community has passion and dedication for making solid objects from digital models. Recently, we have noticed electronics projects integrated with 3D printed enclosures, brackets, and sculptures, so each Thursday we celebrate and highlight these bold pioneers!

Have you considered building a 3D project around an Arduino or other microcontroller? How about printing a bracket to mount your Raspberry Pi to the back of your HD monitor? And don’t forget the countless LED projects that are possible when you are modeling your projects in 3D!
