What If Machine (A Rapberry Pi-powered tv from Futurama) #3Dprinting #3DThursday

Good news everybody! I’ve created a What-If Machine! …Sadly it only answers one question: What if this machine played Futurama episodes? But that’s useful right!

Based on bubba447’s Simpsons TV: https://www.reddit.com/r/3Dprinting/comments/p9lasb/i_designed_and_printed_a_working_simpsons_tv/. I ended up making this before he put out a guide for his build so I based mine on different hardware.

Note: The model itself fits and works fairly well but is not perfect. Feel free to use this as you want. I’d have to print out everything again and get new parts to really make a build guide correctly which I don’t plan on doing.

Every Thursday is #3dthursday here at Adafruit! The DIY 3D printing community has passion and dedication for making solid objects from digital models. Recently, we have noticed electronics projects integrated with 3D printed enclosures, brackets, and sculptures, so each Thursday we celebrate and highlight these bold pioneers!

Have you considered building a 3D project around an Arduino or other microcontroller? How about printing a bracket to mount your Raspberry Pi to the back of your HD monitor? And don’t forget the countless LED projects that are possible when you are modeling your projects in 3D!
