Based on what I’ve seen around the web, Stranger Things was a popular go-to for Halloween costume inspiration. That means I finally spotted some complete Demogorgon costumes. We’ve shared a makeup tutorial for the creature recently, but if you can go full Demogorgon, follow CBLimagery’s lead. He crafted a gruesome and scary looking costume and rigged the mouth so it opens and closes with a hand motion.
CBLimagery explains on Instagram that the Demogorgon was pretty cheap to construct. His largest expenses were three cans of spray foam insulation and two rolls of gorilla tape. He started with a morph suit and added the expanding foam on top of it. The hand control? Rubber bands and bicycle hand brake cables. It’s simple but creative and well-executed.
