Making a set of stormtrooper armor usually involves vacuum forming plastic into shape, but Redditor baconboyrlz1 went another route. He translated the Star Wars look into a Samurai design. He crafted all the plates from EVA foam ranging in thickness from 4mm, to 6mm, to 8mm. He used the same material to modify an existing Black Series helmet — he didn’t want to ruin an expensive helmet, so this was a good compromise. This idea could be applied to Darth Vader, a death trooper, Boba Fett, or any character in the Star Wars galaxy with armor.
