This is a quick wearable project using the Circuit Playground Express. Shared by Brennen Cruz on Hackster.io:

The Safe and Sound wristband is supposed to promote the idea that sensory-friendly environments for people with varying sensitivities to light, sound, smells, and other things should be supported. This device focuses on sound-sensitivity for those with autism. The wristband collects analog data provided by spatial sounds and converts it to a sort-of meter made by the pixel graphic on the Circuit Playground Express. This acts as a visual representation that lets others know if an area may be too loud for the individual. The sensitivity may also be altered and fine-tuned to each specific user, as every user will have a varying sensitivity.
