I recommend the Version with three round 6×3 mm magnets with Gaffatape because the adhesion is the strongest.
Update 09.02.2020 new Version added with 25° for LED Strip
Now Version 2 ist tested and worked fine.
I added new files as V2.1 for the bracket because it was very tight now I made a test print and now you can move the bracket on the ring. I made theses changes also on V1 bracket and marked them with V1.1. I also changed the V1 bracket to use it with three magnets and now also the the V1.1 bracket is not so tight to the ring and you can move it.
I don’t update the brackets/holder with rectangular magnets.
Every Thursday is #3dthursday here at Adafruit! The DIY 3D printing community has passion and dedication for making solid objects from digital models. Recently, we have noticed electronics projects integrated with 3D printed enclosures, brackets, and sculptures, so each Thursday we celebrate and highlight these bold pioneers!
Have you considered building a 3D project around an Arduino or other microcontroller? How about printing a bracket to mount your Raspberry Pi to the back of your HD monitor? And don’t forget the countless LED projects that are possible when you are modeling your projects in 3D!
