Ortovox shared this project on Thingiverse!
Remix of the nice CR-10 120mm fan base to be able to integrate my Raspberry Pi with a POE adapter. Dual 120mm fans are not needed for me and one 120mm fan is enough to cool and ventilate everything in my control box.
The Rasberry Pi 3B is running Octoprint and Klipper while powered and connected to internet using a POE adapter splitter with Micro usb connector. Temps at idle are around 49c and when printing around 41c since then the fan in the front fan base is running and cooling everything.
Note! I have tried the POE adapter on my Pi 3B+ but then I get to low power warning but on the 3B it’s been running without any problem for 2 years.

Every Thursday is #3dthursday here at Adafruit! The DIY 3D printing community has passion and dedication for making solid objects from digital models. Recently, we have noticed electronics projects integrated with 3D printed enclosures, brackets, and sculptures, so each Thursday we celebrate and highlight these bold pioneers!
Have you considered building a 3D project around an Arduino or other microcontroller? How about printing a bracket to mount your Raspberry Pi to the back of your HD monitor? And don’t forget the countless LED projects that are possible when you are modeling your projects in 3D!
