Coming soon! Peculiar Pico Paintings – Portrait of a Pico Zero as a Young Board

Picopaintings

Schem

We sketched together this draft of a ‘Pico Zero’ a Pi Zero-compatiblish board that has an SMT Pico module routed to a classic 2×20 header. It uses every pin on the Pico, even the SMT D25 pad! We skipped the HAT EEPROM pins, and the SPI and UART pins needed a light rearranging to match the underlying peripherals, and D24 didn’t exist so we had to use D14 instead. Then D15 ended up being used for a NeoPixel pin. Stemma QT and LiPo battery + charger round it out for portable projects. We still have some thoughts about the placement of the reset button but we figured this could at least get us trying out all our HATs and Bonnets to verify they work (specially ones with I2S, LED matrices and TFT displays!) Space was tight so we couldn’t fit much more, but maybe it’ll work out? We’ll let you know when we put one together!
