In the walkthrough video, I showcase using some tools and features I found unique and interesting to the design. There’s bits of user parameters for adjusting part dimensions and a peek at the 3D models of the Feather and PropMaker PCBs. The coupler being one of my favs, gets a few minutes of discussion. ILH the CAD animations help explain the assembly. There’s also some tips on orienting the parts for slicing. So basically a half hour of CAD chat.
Splitting Parts

In the quest to make the build more accessible, it became important to design the parts so they fit on even the smallest of printers. A deep drive into the different processes it took to split the hilt and blade, here we go. There’s a genuine “I can’t believe this worked” moment that still has be puzzled (@13:11). Sometimes things don’t work the first time and it takes a second attempt to get it to go I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
