Raspberry Pi Pico snap-together case with slot for 6-wire ribbon cable #3Dprinting #3DThursday

Raspberry Pi Pico snap together case with slot for 6 wire ribbon cable by glabifrons Thingiverse

Update 2021-09-18:
I added a version with a flexible cutout so you can push the button without sliding open the case. Note that I printed mine in PETG. Please let me know how well the button relief works in PLA. If needed, I can narrow the connection and/or extend it to make it more flexible.
I also added a version with a hole to make the LED visible, in case you don’t print with a translucent filament like I did.
Lastly, I added a version with both the button relief and an LED hole.
All lids are interchangeable, so if you’ve already printed one, you just need to print a new lid if you’d like to switch.

Every Thursday is #3dthursday here at Adafruit! The DIY 3D printing community has passion and dedication for making solid objects from digital models. Recently, we have noticed electronics projects integrated with 3D printed enclosures, brackets, and sculptures, so each Thursday we celebrate and highlight these bold pioneers!

Have you considered building a 3D project around an Arduino or other microcontroller? How about printing a bracket to mount your Raspberry Pi to the back of your HD monitor? And don’t forget the countless LED projects that are possible when you are modeling your projects in 3D!
