If you want to take your Overwatch Mercy costume the extra mile, Instructables user Engineer-Corwin is here to help. He made a replica of her Caduceus staff in the game; she used it to heal people. The prop doesn’t emit any healing beams, but it goes through the motions — which you can see in the above video.
The staff was made from 3D printed parts, a switch, batteries, a 6 volt 30RPM motor, magnets, filler, primer, and several more items. You’ll be able to find everything easily at your local hardware and craft stores, but it’s not a short shopping list. The build is complex from the 3D printing to the assembly, but look at the results. I’d say it’s worth it.
