RWBY’s Ruby Rose carries an impressive scythe that it is also a high caliber sniper rifle; it’s called Crescent Rose. When cosplayer Mangoloo, one half of Labinnak and Mangoloo Cosplays/L&MC, made her Ruby Rose ensemble, she fully committed to crafting Crescent Rose. She traced the shape onto paper and designed a mechanism so the scythe would transform using a spring loaded base. At around six feet tall and four feet wide (when fully extended), the weapon is massive and not light — that makes the mechanism that much more notable.
