This Hyrule Warriors Ganondorf Cosplay Isn’t Villainous

Cosplayer KataMarija Creations took on her biggest project yet when she decided to make a Hyrule Warriors Ganondorf costume. The self-taught costume and prop maker’s take on the character is striking. She started like most cosplayers start with armor builds by using card stock and construction paper to make the patterns for the armor pieces. When every piece was right, she turned to foam to make the base of the armor. Then, she covered the foam with Worbla. She folded the Worbla over edges rather than using the sandwich method because it uses less material. She says:

Just use your handy heat gun and start melting and forming, and burning your fingers, and sculpting your details! Not shown here, but I like to use scissor edges or clay sculpting tools to push the worbla as close as possible to the foam edging!
