Florence Heyer, a.k.a. Bakka Cosplay, is an SFX artist and a wig maker. Both sets of skills undoubtedly came in useful for one of her recent projects: a wig with LED and smoke effects. She made it for a costume inspired by Overwatch’s Junkrat. His hair lights up and emits smoke. She started with two wigs and extra wefts and used them to fashion Junkrat’s wigs and eyebrows. She teased and styled the harr and then added residue to make it appear burnt and covered in ashes. Then she worked in LEDs for lighting — you can see a picture below. Florence says:
I wouldn’t have [succeeded without] Urikal Cosplay & Black Arts and Marian from DingFabrik Köln ! Marian even put condensators on each LED to stabilise the glowing ! ♡ and a switch and a removal mini computer plugged into a power bank also with a removable connection.
Soldering will be secured with tons of Kobracast of course!
