A Total Eclipse of the What? #SaturdayMorningCartoons

On August 21st folks in North America (weather permitting) will be able to see a partial solar eclipse — and those along a particular corridor that stretches on a diagonal from Oregon to South Carolina will get to experience a full solar eclipse, daytime darkness, the sun’s corona, the whole deal.

The viewable areas for the eclipse begin over the Pacific Ocean and the Bering Sea, and ends over the Atlantic Ocean. So this is your chance, North America.

But what is the sun? A ball of fire? Nope. It’s not even a mass of incandescent gas. It’s plasma, and They Might Be Giants are here to correct their earlier mistakes with an updated song!
