Just yesterday I put the spotlight on an inventive Pokémon costume, Bulbasaur to be precise, and today, I’m continuing the trend with a look at Zaelyx Cosplay‘s armored Charizard. As the final form of Charmander, the pocket monster flies and can breathe fire hot enough to melt anything. Zaelyx incorporated the colors and general design of the Pokémon in her armor.
She explained how she made the armor:
All of the armor is craft foam layered in Worbla. Head is entirely EVA foam. Sword is Cardboard base > expanding foam > paper mache > masking tape > gesso > Worbla… PHEW
